Mod Polka-Dot Hello Kitty Nails...

This one is a bit late but I'm so in love with my design...
So if you wanna know how I went about it, here it is step by step:

STEP 1:  Dot random circles in black on ring finger and thumb. Make them all diffferent sizes.

STEP 2:  Once dry dot inside the black spots with any color of your choice. I used white "WHITE CANVAS" by Milani and a bright lime green. I used "INNOCENT" by Sinful Colors.

STEP 3:  Repeat STEP 2 as often as needed to obtain desired look.  The objective is to make your nails look like a late 60's Mod pattern...

STEP 4:  Paint remaining three fingers with desired color.  I used a light pink that I mixed myself using "REVLON RED" by Revlon of course and a white, "WHITE CANVAS" by Milani.

STEP 5:  Once dry,  seal with topcoat of your choice. You can clean up edges with a cotton swab dipped in nailpolish remover. I usually don't though...nail polish on skin usually comes off really well with some soaking or after a shower.
Now the next part is a bit more dificult. You can stop at STEP 5 if you wanted to. I think its pretty cute like just that. But I can never let simple be simple enough so I painted on two little Hello Kitty faces on my nails.

A simple way to paint little character designs is to first paint them onto a zip baggie. Let them dry completely then peel them off like little stickers and apply them to your nails with a good topcoat.
Then you are DONE!

I hope you all enjoy. Be creative this design allows it.  Until next time...

Tropical eyeshadow cut crease look...

Quick little experiment I did at 5am this morning I think it came out nice. Colors used: Makeup Forever Eyeshadow numbers 75 (hot pink) and 02 (bright yellow). They are both very matte colors. I mixed them up untill they formed a bright orange. I cut the crease with Urban Decay's Peace which is a bright metallic turquoise. To  give the turquoise a bit of an undertone I used Cosmic Blue from Ben Nye's Lumiere Grande Colour Palette right on the bone arch above the crease line.  In the inner corner's of my eyes I used Sun Yellow, also from Ben Nye's Lumiere palette. I finished off with Ice (Ben Nye) to highlight my brow bone.  ON MY FACE: I used Dior's Bronzer Original Tan  in Spicy Tan, on my cheeks nose forehead and chin. Last but not least, I used Sephora's Luminous Glow to highlight my cheeks. To complete the look I just did a sheer nude lip.

I'll probably upload a vid on youtube in the future.  Until then XOXO :)
